Full rate participants are entitled to:

• Attendance at all scientific presentations

• Presentation of two works (at most) during the conference

A copy of the volume where the manuscript appeared would be dispatched to the registered author once this volume was published. Submission of manuscripts is optional.

• Coffee breaks and buffet lunches

• Attendance at one of the two Social Programs offered

Student participants are entitled to:

• Attendance at all scientific presentations

• Presentation of two works (at most) during the conference

• Presentation of one work at the online platform for virtual participation

• Certificate of work presentation under the virtual participation mode (it will be dispatched to the registered author after the conference)

• Submission of one full paper (at most) in order to be considered for inclusion in the Book "Fuelling the future: advances in science and technologies for energy generation, transmission and storage". A copy of the volume where the manuscript appeared would be dispatched to the registered author once this volume was published. Submission of manuscripts is optional.

  - All bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid in addition to the registration fees.

•  On-site:

  Participants interested in this option: 

    1) must perform the online registration or send the registration form by fax or email before 23 May 2012.

    2) will be requested to explicitly confirm their attendance to the conference by answering to an email that will be sent from Conference
        Secretariat from 30 May 2012 to 1 June 2012 requesting such confirmation. Failure to do this will result in withdrawal of the work(s)
        from the Final Program and cancellation of the registration for the conference.

    3) on-site registration fees will always be applied to on-site participants. They are expected to pay that fee the first day of the conference by
        credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or in cash.

Please remember that:

• Deadline for early registration is 14 March 2012. It is necessary to register and pay the registration fee before that date to apply for this fee (the photocopy of the bank transfer/purchase order must also be sent to info@emr2012.org in case of selecting bank transfer as payment option) Thereafter registration fees will be increased as published

• Deadline for late registration is 23 May 2012. It is necessary to register and pay the registration fee before that date to apply for this fee (the photocopy of the bank transfer/purchase order must also be sent to info@emr2012.org in case of selecting bank transfer as payment option)

• Registrations will be accepted only exceptionally from 24 May on. On-site registration fees will always be applied to those registrants. Payment by credit card or bank transfer will be accepted till 12 June 2012. From that date on, registration fees must be paid the first day of the conference by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or in cash.

• Students are required to send a copy of their student card to apply for the Student registration fee. It must be sent to the Conference Secretariat by email: info@emr2012.org or by fax: +34 924263053. Abstracts registered under the Student registration mode are expected to be presented by the student registered at the conference (not virtually). Students wishing to present abstracts through Virtual Participation mode must register as Virtual Participants.

• Invoices of payments will be handed over during the conference (or posted after the conference for virtual participants) unless they are required before. If a pro-forma invoice is required, please contact the Conference Secretariat at info@emr2012.org.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Refund of registration fees will be as follows:

• Cancellations received before 4 June 2012 -full refund less bank charges

• No refund on cancellations sent after 4 June 2012

Refunds will be processed between 2 or 3 weeks after receiving requests.

DISCLAIMER

• The conference organization reserves the right to change the venue or date of its conference if exceptional circumstances demand. In the event that the venue or date is changed, the conference organization will not be responsible for covering airfare, hotel or any other costs incurred by the registrants.

• There will be no refund in the case of the scientific program and/or social program being partially delayed or cancelled because of events outside EMR2012’s reasonable control such as: (a) acts of nature - natural disasters or any other weather conditions that could prevent the conference from taking place (b) fire, explosion or power failure (c) outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance or acts of terrorism (d) default or delay of or change in arrangements made by suppliers, third party providers or subcontractors (e) any cause or circumstances whatsoever beyond EMR2012’s reasonable control.

• The conference organization does not take out insurance to cover participants (or accept responsibility) against accidents, injury or loss suffered while attending events or other risks.

• The copyright of all material presented in the conference or included in the conference publications rests with the presenter(s), and EMR2012 may not be held responsible for any copyright infringements.
