Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Last year, a group of researchers at Extremadura (Spain), counting with the collaboration of a broad team of proffessors worldwide, worked togheter to set-up a new international forum in Spain with the aim of promoting discussion about the pedagogical potential of new learning and educational technologies both in the academic and corporate world. This exciting iniciative gave rise to a Conference which was organized in November 2002 at Badajoz, Spain, and with 335 participants representing more than 50 countries. In that First International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies in Education (ICTE2002), 379 papers and technical notes were presented, giving rise to an exceptionally interesting and valuable Proceedings volume, which will for sure have a deep impact in the ICTs & Education scientific community during the next years.

In addition, more than 10 European Projects (transnational cooperative projects) were presented, and two books were presented, which made it a truly interdisciplinar and live meeting. 

Again, with that genuine international and interdisciplinar perspective, you are kindly invited to actively participate in this Second International Conference on Multimedia and ICTs in Education (m-ICTE2003) as presenter, reviewer, attendee, sponsor, exhibitor, etc.
