| | | | | | | AIMS | m-ICTE2009 wants to be an international forum which serves as a showcase of innovative pedagogical practices using technology as well as a forum for discussion among teachers, researchers and people who are interested in the ways emerging technologies are transforming education by addressing challenges in learning, affordability, accessibility, and faculty and student satisfaction.
Relationships between education/ training and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are increasing accelerating, sometimes in unexpected ways, with original ideas and innovative tools, methodologies and synergies. Accordingly, the main purpose of m-ICTE2009 conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners from both areas, in order to support the bridging process between education/ training and ICT communities.
m-ICTE2009 intends to consolidate a series of conferences, which started in 2002 and whose last edition was held in Seville (Spain) in 2006 and was attended by about 450 participants from nearly 60 countries. m-ICTE2009 Conference hopes to continue contributing to create new insights and to expand expertise that should contribute to develop this quite modern discipline that is among technology, education and sociology. This genuine interdisciplinary nature of the field makes this an non-easy task, but it also makes it more attractive from an intellectual viewpoint, as attractive are also all potential benefits of reaching excellence in the use of technologies in education for the whole mankind.
You are encouraged to submit your abstracts to m-ICTE2009 in order to share your achievements in the field of education, which reflect accurately the state of the art in learning technologies and policies, and their applications.
